Last night was the first meeting of the Northwest Georgia Obama Mamas! I told the ladies there that we accomplished more in one hour than I have seen many political groups accomplish in a month! We have a lot of energy and some great plans including a fundraiser in September featuring Laura Caldwell Anderson, archivist at the Civl Rights Museum in Birmingham. Ms. Anderson will present a program on Women in the Civil Rights Movement.
