Jason Carter, attorney with the Atlanta firm of Bondurant, Mixon and Elmore and grandson of President and Mrs. Jimmy Carter, spoke at Politics and Lunch in Macon on Friday, October 26th at noon. Jason has joined with others to launch "Democrats Work", an organization that will undoubtedly change the way we think about political action by challenging us to put our values into action.
Jason shared some memories of growing up as a grandson of a home-grown Georgia President and of his own experiences as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Africa. With special enthusiasm he described the activities of Democrats Work, an organization that provides meaningful ways to combine social values with actual community improvement projects.
