Kristina Simms, GFDW president, and Karen Barber, a GFDW district director from Fayette County, responded to an invitation by Elaine Davis-Nickens, lst VP of the Rockdale County Democratic Committee to visit Conyers for a lunch meeting at Piccadilly. We all had a great time, discussed the possibility of a Rockdale/Newton Club, and also enjoyed a little Democratic merriment. Whenever a group of Democratic women get together, there's always friendship and fun, as well as seriousness of purpose. After all, Democratic Women ARE THE "Life of the Party" !
