The Gwinnett Democratic Women were excited and honored to have as the featured speaker at our Sept 15th meeting, Stacey Chavis, Southern Regional Director of
“The White House Project”. The WHP promotes the idea that the “insights, experiences and perspectives of women do matter — and that we will collectively benefit when women participate and lead alongside their male peers.”
Our group is diverse and open to all women who are interested in the political process, community needs and how each of us can become an active, positive participant in our community, our state and our country.
The Gwinnett Federation of Democratic Women meets
at O’Charley’s in Lawrenceville, GA 3rd Tuesday of each month
@ 6:00 pm. Next meeting is September 15th, 2009
