Thirty Democratic Women from Houston, Peach, Bleckley, and Taylor Counties met for lunch at The Steak House in Hawkinsville on Saturday, April 17.
The speakers were Gail Buckner, candidate for SOS and GFDW vice-president; Dr.Beth Farokhi, candidate for state school superintendent; Kimberly Mitchem-Rasmussen, southern director for the White House Project; and a surprise speaker, Sharon Howard, candidate for HD 136.
