On October 18, 2008, Fayette Democratic Women had a "Saturday morning brunch, celebrating strong women leaders" at the Hollingsworth House in Fayetteville.
Elverta Williams, club president, and her committee did a wonderful job. The keynote speaker was Jane Kidd, chair of the Georgia Democratic Party. GFDW board members who were among the large crowd in attendance were: Elverta Williams, Karin Barber, Gail Buckner, and Tina Simms. The assortment of smiling faces represented in the photos taken by Charlotte Perkins will demonstrate that a good time was had by all. Everyone left energized and ready to get out the vote !
