Friday, March 28, speaking at the City Club. He has so many good plans for Macon that there was hardly time enough for him to cover all the details. Amy Morton was the emcee for the meeting and several GFDW members were among those who enjoyed the mayor's talk and a delicious buffet lunch. Our GFDW president Kathy Bird, Kathryn Whitehead, and Kristina Simms drove up from Houston County to attend. We saw a lot of familiar faces and enjoyed socializing and meeting some new folks as well.
