The Georgia Association of Democratic County Chairs (GADCC) hosted the annual dinner to recognize the recipient of the Richard B. Russell Public Service Award on Saturday August 4. The 2007 recipient was Rep. Calvin Smyre. The event was held at the Macon Conference Center (formerly the Holiday Inn Conference Center) in Macon. All proceeds from this dinner assist Democratic County organizations.
